ISCAD is the not-for-profit Dramatic Society funded and run by international London residents. Established in 2009 by Emilia Teglia as the Interactive School of Language and Drama, ISCaD promotes intercultural communication across nations, cultures and social groups through theatre and the performing arts.
Membership
Members include individuals united by the passion for travelling and experiencing the world outside
ISCaD founding membersfamiliar boundaries, people choosing to prioritise art, play, self-development and creative interaction in their lifestyle.
With high standard theatre producations and education programmes, ISCaD brings together individuals across the social spectrum. Professionals, students, amateur and professional actors, theatre lovers and creative people from all countries and walks of life offer their experience to create original theatre productions.
Since its official inception in February 2012, many international Londoners have already contributed to ISCaD's projects by volunteering their time and skills offering their unique creative vision to the international community in London.
By joining ISCaD, everyone, regardless of their ethnic origins and social status, will be able to make their voice heard becoming part of London's art scene.
Social enterprise
ISCaD creates community performances where members collaborate with professionals from all sectors to learn new skills and develop netwoks. Participation to these projects can take many forms: are you a designer, a photographer, a film maker, a stylist? Do you have experience in marketing? Do you know how to run an event and deal with the public? Are you great at public relationships? Do you enjoy cooking, or cycling?
These are just some examples of the skills that you could bring to ISCAD. You might be very experienced, or you might wish to develop your CV through volunteering with us.
